Passagens – Exposição de José Cardigos Bastos

A Reserva tem o prazer de apresentar o trabalho do artista residente José Cardigos Bastos, pintor e fotógrafo. Nesta exposição individual, apresentamos uma perspectiva do processo de concepção pictórica deste autor, nas suas várias camadas de construção. 

A técnica realista de Cardigos Bastos, em que se destaca a influência da sua carreira em Fotografia, demonstra claramente a disciplina e rigor a que submete a sua prática. Observando a sua metodologia, levantou-se a necessidade de revelar a transição processual por que passam as suas imagens, numa linhagem construtiva em que cada fase se encontra, por si só, finalizada. 

Foram estas passagens, de um esqueleto frágil, para um corpo robusto, que nos propusemos desvendar, e que convidamos a visitar na casa que acolhe e inspira este artista. 

A inauguração terá lugar no dia 10 de Novembro, Sábado, a partir das 16h, no Edifício 27 d’A Reserva na Fábrica. A exposição decorre até ao dia 25 de Novembro.

Sábados e Domingos das 14h às 18h

 

No âmbito da exposição, o artista irá orientar uma oficina de preparação de Painéis de Gesso Tradicional, no dia 18 de Novembro. Saiba mais aqui.
